Built so the data stays with you
Lastly is designed around one principle: nothing about a person leaves your organisation. You know where the data is, which makes data protection simpler to reason about.
Where data lives
Your desktop is the hub.
The database sits in the desktop app, on a machine your organisation controls.
Forms, notes and transcripts are kept there, not on a vendor's server.
Your private scratch pad stays in the app and is never printed.
No cloud service is part of the setup.
Phone and desktop
A direct line, with nothing in between.
Pairing is done by pointing the phone's camera at a code on the desktop.
There are no accounts, codes or settings to type.
Traffic goes directly over your local network, encrypted and locked to your own desktop.
There is no cloud relay.
Speech and AI
The models run on your own server.
Speech is transcribed live on a server or machine your organisation controls.
Audio is never stored. Only the text is kept, marked with the time and who spoke.
Drafts and suggestions are made on the same server, each with a source quote.
Audit trail
Every change is on record.
Who changed what, and when, is logged for every change.
The log is append-only and shows if it has been tampered with.
Managers can follow what happened in a case.
Access and removal
You decide who and what is connected.
Roles include professional and manager, set up to match your organisation.
A paired device can be removed from the desktop in one click.
The models
Three kinds of model, on hardware you control.
The listening, deciding and drafting models run on a GPU server in your building or in your own data centre.
The models are used as they are. They do not learn from or train on your cases.
Once installed, they need no internet connection, and nothing about a person is sent to an outside AI service.
You choose which models run, and a model can be swapped without changing how your team works.
